Dreaming of a white Christmas
I must remember for next year that the smart people head off on their summer holiday before Christmas. The last two and a half weeks have been the busiest of the year for me. I've been doing at least two people's jobs!
I've spent the last two Christmas' here in Australia, kindly adopted by the Unwin / Lidster's. Being able to run on the beach and dive into the ocean for a swim on Christmas Day has been wonderful.
But there is something that doesn't feel quite right unless it is cold at Christmas. I'm looking forward to getting back to the traditions of Christmas Eve with the neighbours, a warm beer in the pub and lunch round the family dining table.
I hope that you have a good one wherever you are.
Merry Christmas!

Merry Xmas Richard! Now that you mention it, I've never had a cold Xmas.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely super cold Christmas, Richard. But I think we'll be having at least a cool one in Sydney anyway... :S
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing you in London! Apparently it's going to be the mildest Christmas for many years so maybe we should thank you for bringing us the warmth!
