Restaurant Review: Centennial Park Café & Kiosk, Sydney
I really like Centennial Park. There's just so much to be attracted to. The BBQ areas that are perfect for parties and get togethers. The fact you can escape the urban hustle and bustle while still being in the middle of the city. The lakes and rose garden. The wildlife. The fact there are little areas where you can still escape all of the crowds in summer.
I'm a fan of all the running routes in the park too. On Sunday I met up with some friends for a jog round the park and for breakfast at the Centennial Park Café and Kiosk afterwards.
The location is glorious, but I was a bit underwhelmed by the food. The menu is short (which I don't have a problem with), but it lacks invention and is quite repetitive (which I do). You can have eggs anyway you like them, as long as they are poached.
I chose the poached eggs on sourdough with a side of bacon. It wasn't bad, there jut wasn't anything stand out about the eggs or bacon. The oozing egg yolk did look good though.
I'll definitely be back to the park for a run, but I'm not sure I'll bother visiting the café again.

I haven't eaten there but I do love that park...actually I love that park, and I love how so many people utilise it. My kids would say the only place worth eating at there, is the icecream kiosk in the middle.
