Brockley in the snow

Pink umbrella in Hilly Fields park

I got up early to go for a run with friends to the Woolwich Arsenal and back. It was snowing small, annoying, icy flakes when we left. By the time we got to Woolwich large and fluffy flakes had started falling and it hasn't stopped since!

A walk in Hilly Fields followed by lunch at Arlo & Mo. A perfect snowy afternoon in Brockley.

  2. I can only imagine what it's like to live in a place where it snows in winter. Yes, I've been in snow many times but living in it, and tolerating it, is another thing. So beautiful yet, I'm sure, annoying at the same time.

  3. John, it's quite a novelty for Brits too! We often get about twenty minutes of snow, moan about the transport delays then wake up the next day to find it's all gone. This year is getting annoying.

Richard, do you not find running on ice-rink pavements a bit too much?

  4. There is something magical and beautiful about the snow.

Slipping on icy pavements and getting stuck on delayed trains are the less romantic side.
