I've had my new watch for a couple of weeks now and I'm loving it.
There are still a couple of niggles; it could be more intuitive to use. It also takes around a minute to connect to a satellite, which is frustrating on a cold morning. I learnt from a friend that you can start the connection process indoors, which makes no sense, but seems to work.
However, everything is forgiven when you connect the watch to you computer and upload your exercise details onto the Garmin website.
As well as getting a cool map, you get infomation on your heart rate, pace, elevation and calories burnt. I'm still having fun playing with all of the different functionality. You can search the training runs uploaded by other Garmin users to get ideas of new routes in your area.
It's a complete luxury, but is fun.
Oh, and if you haven't noticed, I ran 20km in 1hr 49mins. Go me!
UPDATE: Here's my unboxing of the Garmin Forerunner 110.
Go Ricardo
